Note for unit type selection
① Understand the composition of the pumped gas, whether the gas contains condensable steam, whether there is particle dust, whether corrosive, etc. When selecting the vacuum pump, it is necessary to know the gas composition and select the corresponding pump for the pumped gas. If the gas contains steam, particles and corrosive gas, auxiliary equipment, such as condenser and dust collector, etc., should be installed on the inlet pipe of the pump.
② The working pressure of the Roots vacuum unit should meet the requirements of the limit vacuum and working pressure of the vacuum equipment. For example, a vacuum drying process requires a working pressure of 10mmHg (absolute pressure), and the limit pressure of the vacuum pump should be at least 2mmHg, preferably less than 1mmHg. Usually, the ultimate pressure of the selected pump is half to an order of magnitude higher than the working pressure of the vacuum equipment.
③ Correct select the working point of the Roots vacuum unit, the normal operating range is the maximum suction pressure to limit pressure X 5. Example: JZJ2B150-70-5111, the normal working pressure range of the rots liquid ring vacuum unit, the unit is more efficient within this range.
④ Under its working pressure, the vacuum unit shall be able to discharge all the gas amount produced in the process of the vacuum equipment.
