WAU pump easy to operate! They include a differential pressure valve that allows them to start at the same time as the roughing pump. If the pressure difference between the flanges is too large, the valve will open. A portion of the pumped gas then flows back through this line to the intake flange. Therefore, the pump can be opened at atmospheric pressure using the front pump. This increases the pumping speed of the pump combination at high intake pressure
